I've been a "reader" here for a long time and am always inspired and intrigued by the commentary and files here. For this I say a big "THANK YOU"!!

I'm a 29 year old drummer originally from Massachusetts but have been in Louisiana for several years (wife recently finished school here) where there's not as much of an inspiring music scene as in the northeast. This forum and the HOD site have helped ease the boredom. Thank you again!!

Now I'll finally get to my question...

I have long been a a huge VC fan and have wanted to start collecting various bootlegs (CD/video/DVD) but haven't had any luck in finding any. I've been collecting bootlegs on and off over the last few years and have checked with various bootleg traders about VC but without success. I've "jealously" read through posts where some of you have talked about your collection of Vinnie stuff and was wondering if anyone could offer advice on where to find things, who to trade with, etc.

Thank you in advance and I look forward to posting more here and making new friends.

Welcome to the HOD buddy!

A great place to start is the sound section of Steve's very own page, it has some wonderful examples of Vinnie's playing. I think there is a boot somewhere on the site at the moment, but I can't be sure.

As good a place to start as any would be Gete's 4 DVD set of Vinnie on the Joan Rivers Show!

Hope this helps man!

Question

Hey Guys,
I downloaded the whole file(Vinnie PASIC) but now what should I do? This is the first time I'm downloading DVD file from Easy Tree and I know that in order to have the audio files you need to have FLAC or MKW Compression Tool Software to transfer to WAV so, what software do I need to have to transfer to DVD format and burn it?
Please help meeeeeeeeeeeee

Thanks!!!!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">don't confuse , Flac is for audio CD, for DVD the more simple if you have a DVD burner is to burn it, Nero do that fine, if you don't have a DVD burner you still can see the DVD using VLC software player here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Go on the folder open the .VOB file VTS_01_1.VOB then VTS_01_2.VOB etc...
